エコー contains field recordings, snippets from live sets and line recordings I made in capsule hotels during my trip to Japan in May 2025. Trains, pachinko parlours, re-recorded radio transmissions, nature, and urban ambience are collaged and recomposed throughout the album. All material was recorded in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The two tracks Kagayaki and Kodama are both named after trains; their names translate to “glitter” and “echo.”
